About Duluth Playhouse
Founded in 1914, the Duluth Playhouse is one of the oldest nonprofit theaters in the United States and a cornerstone of the region’s cultural life. Through mainstage productions, youth and education programming, and community partnerships, the Playhouse connects artists and audiences and enriches the creative fabric of the Northland.
Position Summary
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director (ED) serves as the chief executive and administrative leader of the organization. The ED is responsible for overall strategy, operations, financial stewardship, fundraising, people and culture, and community engagement, while working in close partnership with artistic leadership to ensure excellence on and off the stage.
The Executive Director will play a critical role in fostering a healthy, collaborative culture and ensuring the Playhouse is well positioned for longterm success.

$85,000 - $110,000 commensurate with experience
