Fusing the comedies of Ancient Rome with the energy of vaudeville, A Funny Thing is a delightful comedy of errors where nothing goes right. In a scheme for his freedom, the slave Pseudolus attempts to win the virgin Philia for his young master, Hero. Outrageous and bawdy humor infuses this carefree story, while the Stephen Sondheim songs such as "Comedy Tonight" and "Bring Me My Bride" complement and carry this tale of misadventure and happy endings.
